The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

The finale of Peter Jackson's ingenious fantasy trilogy, in which the companions go their separate ways to seal their own fate and that of Middle-earth.

Sauron's army is about to attack Minas Tirith, the rock-built capital of Gondor. Given the menace of the enemy army, it weighs all the more heavily that Gondor's king is missing and only the frail Truchsess Denethor (John Noble) watches over the once mighty kingdom.
