What Happens Later

Snowed in overnight at the airport - this is not how Bill (David Duchovny) and Willa (Meg Ryan) imagined their reunion. When the memories of their great love at college bring back feelings they thought had long since died out, there's a touch of magic in the air.

"What if?" This variation comes into play at a time when Willa and Bill are faced with difficult personal decisions. When nothing works at the airport and there's nothing to do in the waiting area but talk, harmless banter turns into an evening of accusations, confessions and the realization that the passion that once brought them together never really died. The previously impenetrable walls between Bill and Willa begin to crumble, and it almost seems as if not only the stars, but even the PA system is trying to bring them back together.
